Home Why you need systems to lower your score Dangerous exercise equipment (Warning!)

Dangerous exercise equipment (Warning!)

The other day, I saw a pretty disturbing Facebook post when I was skimming my mentors (Craig Ballantyne) fan page.

Here’s the post, (I’ve removed the name of the brand, but this goes for all of your equipment.)

“Craig, please warn your readers about the ‘___ Pullup’ bars.

Used mine for 2 yrs with no problems, then Friday it fell out

of the doorway while I was using it. I have two fractured

vertebra. The paramedic told me on the way to the hospital

that he’s  responded to many, many accidents caused by these

pullup bars falling.”

So please be very, very, very careful with your equipment and how you set things up. Double check equipment, especially if you are suspending your body above the ground!

….better yet, why not skip the pullups, and get a good and amazing home workout with the 30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less golf fitness sytem.

30 Yards or More in 30 Days or Less <= 50% OFF for 3 days only

You’ll get beginner and advanced workouts specifically designed to take your golf fitness to the next level (And YES, it’s guaranteed to work or you get your money back.)

This is what you’ve been waiting for.

By the way, I get a lot of emails every week asking what equipment you need to get a good workout at home.

The short answer is NONE. You can do quite a bit with bodyweight only to break a sweat and further your goal of lowering your golf score.

However, here are 5 pieces of equipment I suggest you get:

  1. Adjustable Dumbbells like PowerBlocks (I don’t recommend the Bowflex ones because they are fragile and I’ve broken three sets myself)
  2. Foam Roller
  3. Stability Ball
  4. Exercise Bands
  5. Yoga Mat
Pretty basic setup. If you have the extra money, I would recommend getting a bench although it is not necessary as we can use the stability ball or a chair in place of a bench for some exercises.Bottom line, train safe no matter what equipment you use… and if you aren’t sure how to use something, ask an expert!
