  • What’s Your #1 Scoring Leak?
Home Why you need systems to lower your score try this workout today (ring your fitness bell)

try this workout today (ring your fitness bell)

According to researchers at the University of North Texas, kettlebells showed a major boost in both testosterone and growth hormone levels.

As we age, we need to do all we can to keep our testosterone and growth hormones in optimal ranges.

The researchers measured guys who did just six total minutes of kettlebell swings.

The kettlebell swing is a one stop exercise that works the entire body together. Just like our golf swing… abs, hamstrings, and lats are all strengthened together to generate the proper amount of power to swing the bell (or a golf club).

Give the following short, but intense workout a try… you can use it to boost your testosterone  and growth hormones just like the research subjects in the University of North Texas study.

“Ring Your Fitness Bell”

Perform both exercises back to back with no rest.

1A) One-handed Kettlebell swing x :30 seconds
1B) Pushup x 5 reps

Rest :30 seconds and repeat for a total of 10 minutes. You can set this up on your iPhone or Android phone and watch the timer as you run through this.

Of course, if you want to use the two handed swing go for it.

Here’s a blog post I wrote a few months ago on how to properly do a kettlebell swing:
