Home Why you need systems to lower your score Tiger’s Favorite Putting Drill

Tiger’s Favorite Putting Drill

Before we get to Tiger’s favorite putting drill, I wanted to let you know about our latest project, the No More 3 Putts! Challenge.

After the huge success of our Power and Distance Challenge test group (check out the PS below for a special invitation only offer), Rich and I started another test group for a putting blueprint we created over the past year. We believe in proving everything we create… after all, what good is an untested blueprint?

So, I drove down to San Antonio and recorded a ton of drills, techniques, and strategies that we will be using in the No More 3 Putts! Challenge. Our hope is that we can help the average golfer lower their putts-per-round and become a better scorer.

The program has drills, GTG, and fitness all working together in what I call “Force Multiplication”… simply, increasing your results by using the Golf Aggressive principle’s of Mind, Body, and Skill.

In addition, we selected a small group of test subjects to help us fine tune the course.

We started off the week with cold weather affecting most of the United States and Europe… so things are off to a slow start and we haven’t been able to get most of the golfers out to perform their benchmark tests. This is OK though as I expect the weather to improve soon.

It just so happens, that Tiger’s favorite drill is built into the No More 3 Putts! Challenge.

Obviously, short putts are important. If you are missing 3, 4, and 5 footers then you aren’t scoring as low as you possibly could…

… and the following drill will really help on Knee Knockers.

And now, Tiger’s FAVORITE putting drill…

Two-Tee Knee Knockers

  1. Three feet from a hole, push two tees in the ground just outside the heel and toe, forming a gate for the putter.
  2. Alternate hitting 12 putts with your right hand only, then six with both hands, until you make 50 or 100 in a row. If you miss, start over.
  3. On these short putts, it’s critical to keep the putter moving straight back and through. Place the tees so close together that if the putter veers off line even a tiny bit during the stroke, it’ll crash into one of the tees.
  4. Draw a line on your ball with a marker to use as an alignment aid.
  5. Don’t peek. Keep your head down.

And here’s a little video Rich and I filmed for you.

Tiger Woods is without a doubt one of the greatest putters of all time… and this drill was made known to us way back in 2007… when Tiger was at his prime.

Sure, he is having some trouble staying healthy and getting back to form – but I’m guessing it’s just a matter of time before he is competitive again.

sigP.S. The Golf Aggressive: Power and Distance Challenge will not be made available to everyone initially. Rich and I still want to personally coach a few more small groups before it’s released to the mass market.

If you are interested, hit reply and let us know you want to be put on the waiting list… We are going to open the gates to only 20 golfers. The program isn’t cheap by any means – but we guarantee you better results than you are probably getting right now. So hit ‘reply’ and let us know if you want to be on the waiting list. I’ll email you back with a link where you can reserve your spot.
